CLARITY CARS PARKING

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Responsibilities of Clarity Cars Parking
    • Vehicles parked in our facilities are covered under Clarity Cars Rent A Car S.L.’s insurance, except when:
      • damage is caused by the client’s own vehicle, or
      • the type of damage is excluded under our policy (details available on request).
    • Vehicles will only be driven by fully contracted and legal staff for the purpose of:
      • collection/return at Murcia or Alicante airports, or
      • transfer between our facilities/ITV station/garage services
  • Responsibilities of the Client
    • Remove unfixed items (phones, bags, radios, sat navs). We are not responsible for their loss.
    • Drop-off must be at the agreed time. Late arrivals may incur extra charges.
    • Notify us within 48 hours if you need to extend a booking.
    • Minimum 3 days (72 hours) notice required for bookings Murica customers – 5 days (120 hours) Alicante customers.
    • Transfer fees outside of normal contract: €35.00 each way
    • Late notice bookings
      • €20 (<72h), €30 (<48h), €40 (<24h) – Murcia contracts
      • €30 (<120h) €40 (<48h) €50 (<24h) – Alicante contracts
  • Vehicles must have valid ITV, insurance ,and tax. Foreign vehicles must hold equivalent documents.
  • Clients must provide a spare key or code.
  • Clarity Cars Parking accepts no liability for fines if vehicle documents are missing.
  • Liability
    • Claims for damage must be reported immediately upon collection.
    • Not covered:
      • wear & tear,
      • mechanical faults or discharged batteries,
      • weather/natural events,
      • tyre, wheel, glass, roof, sills, underbody, stone chips,
      • interior contents,
      • animal damage,
      • third-party work (mechanics, valets, bodyshops).
    • When staff drive a client’s vehicle, by law, the vehicle’s own insurance applies.
    • If a claim is processed under our insurance, the client pays the excess.
    • If the vehicle is unroadworthy, the client is liable for resulting damage.
    • Jump starts may be provided; we are not liable for further faults.
  • Right of Retention

Under Law 40/2002 of 14 November, Clarity Cars Rent A Car S.L. reserves the right to retain a vehicle until outstanding fees are paid.

  • Cancellation & Refunds
    • Cancellations with 48h notice: refund minus €15.00 admin fee.
    • Contracts may be cancelled within 15 days of start: refund minus days used and €15.00 admin fee.
    • After 15 days: no refund.
    • All services subject to availability.
  • Payment
    • Parking fees payable at the start of contract.
    • Outstanding fees must be paid before vehicle release.
    • Clients are responsible for bank charges/commissions.
  • Privacy & Data Protection
    • Controller: ClarityCarsRentACarS.L.– CIF: B19757442
    • Purpose: Contract management and administration.
    • Legal basis: Execution of contract.
    • Rights: Access, rectify, delete data, or exercise other GDPR rights by contacting [your email].
    • No transfer of data to third countries.

These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
